Dr. Lee Stocks, Jr. is a tenured Associate Professor in the Department of Geosciences at Mansfield University, coordinator of the Environmental Science concentration, and Director of the Institute of Science and the Environment. He is a broadly-trained geoscientist and has worked in the field for over twenty years in both academic and professional capacities. Dr. Stocks has a diverse background with experience in geology, geophysics, geomorphology, biogeography, and environmental science. He worked for several years with the West Virginia GIS Technical Center, West Virginia Geological Survey, and the West Virginia Speleological Survey. Academically, he has over 17 years teaching and conducting research projects in Ohio, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
